Join Us in the Fight for Universal Paid Family Leave

join us in the fight for universal paid family leave

Here at The Mom Project, we understand and value the importance of Universal Paid Family Leave. Paid leave provides families the opportunity to take time off for the birth or adoption of a child or to care for a close relative dealing with illness or recovering from a significant surgery while receiving financial support while they’re out of work.

For instance, did you know that 1 in 4 mothers in the U.S. is back at work just two weeks after childbirth, and most dads don’t have a single day of paid leave? These facts are alarming, and we are calling on all moms, dads, caregivers, employers, and allies to join us in working together to change it.

As congress considers laws to help working families recover from the pandemic, we have an opportunity to pass paid leave for all. It’s why we have teamed up with Paid Leave for the United States (PL+US), a nonprofit working to win a national paid family and medical leave program in the U.S.

Join us and 300+ business and brands from across the country to activate and amplify your voice by emailing members of Congress in support of paid family leave.

In less than two minutes, you can email your Member of Congress to tell them to pass the Universal Paid Family Leave.  Your voice will make a difference during this critical time.

No one should have to choose between taking care of their health, family, and employment.

Let’s continue to drive change and deliver on our mission to unlock $1 Billion in economic opportunity for moms and support individuals everywhere that need Universal Paid Family Leave.
