Three Reasons to RALLY

Let's be real: the concept of "mentoring" is one that can be met with a bit of apprehension.

What exactly is a mentor? Do I need one? Do I have the experience to be one? Do I have time for a mentorship? How do I find a mentor? Is mentoring a lifetime commitment?!?!

We are here to clear a few things up.

Having or being a mentor can be a wonderful, life-changing experience. It is an opportunity to create a deep connection with another person and grow - both professionally and personally.

And when it comes to The Mom Project and our Community, we know one thing to be a fact:

✨Empowered Women Empower Women.✨

That's why we are proud to share our RALLY program with the world. RALLY takes the "mentorship" concept and flips it by offering a non-intimidating, peer-to-peer program that matches up professional women and gives them a space to speak candidly with each other - all while giving and receiving career advice.

We also understand the limited time most of us, especially working parents, have to dedicate to activities outside of our families and careers. We made sure to anchor RALLY in a 3-hour TOTAL commitment over the course of 3 months. Yes,  it's manageable! (Oh, and did we mention that we provide you with session guides to ensure the time spent with your match is worthwhile?)

We see the power and wisdom that sits within our Community, and we cannot wait to connect you with each other and watch all the incredible things you achieve by coming together.

Still not convinced? Here are three more reasons to RALLY.

  1. Have you heard about the Shine Theory?
Coined in 2013, it is a practice of mutual investment with the simple-yet-powerful premise that “I don’t shine if you don’t shine.” It’s all about coming together to lift each other up and move us all forward. Sounds like something you can support, right? RALLY can give you your daily dose of shine - and a whole lot more.

  2. The power of “mentorship” extends beyond simply making a connection.
People with mentors perform better, move their careers forward faster, and may even experience more work-life satisfaction. Mentors also benefit from the effects of the relationship and see increased satisfaction.

  3. It’s 2020. Let’s usher in the era of the “frientor.”
RALLY is all about fostering genuine conversations and connections rooted in you and your whole story. The most successful RALLY matches will focus on building a personal connection first in order to then drive specific career outcomes.
