In late March The Mom Project announced the launch of Unity; a program built to bring the magic of The Mom Project community to each of you, while supporting individual jobseekers impacted by coronavirus hardships through coaching and resume services, and beyond. 

We put the call out. Who could help? Who needed help? 

What happened next? Our community showed up. 💪🙏👏 

We'll be posting weekly updates covering the program and in you are interested in signing up as a coach or an individual you can find more info here. 

Over the second week: 

• Coaches: We added another dozen or so professional coaches offering to help anywhere between 1 and 10+ people with resume reviews, mock interviews, life coaching, and career coaching.
• Individuals: We matched nearly 100 more people professionally affected by COVID-19 related job loss, furlough or extended unemployment with the professional coaches that lined up to support, for a total of nearly 300 matches made.
• Early feedback showcased what kind of impact time with a coach can make. One of our first Unity participants had this to say: 

  "My coach has given me so many tools in the past three weeks that helped me shift my mentality and gain clarity of what I wanted to do in terms of my career, and how I was allowing old patterns to predict my present and future. Thank you so much!"

• Our coaches are finding the process invaluable as well, sharing with us messages like:

  "Serving has been my antidote to fear right now."

   

  "Times are hard on so many and it is at least one thing I can do to feel like I am making a difference in some way. I'm happy to be able to help!"

Over the first week: 

• Coaches: We communicated with over 125 professional coaches offering to help anywhere between 1 and 10+ people with resume reviews, mock interviews, life coaching, and career coaching. The outpouring of support was beyond encouraging.
  
  
• Individuals: We matched nearly 200 people professionally affected by COVID-19 related job loss, furlough or extended unemployment with the professional coaches that lined up to support. 

Unity Program Goal:  to match up to 1,000 hours of professional coaching time to those in need. And more, if you need it.
